Just this month, they have moved their headquarters to Traverse City and are now serving Northern Michigan. Family has been the bedrock of Modernistic since they started. Moms have been a vital part of the business. For CEO Jill McDonald-Fiebelkorn and COO Rachel Shaw, their moms answered the phones, did the accounting, planned the routes for the techs the next day – using their paper maps – making sure they were the most efficient route possible.
