The Nidderdale DalesBus 821 begins for the summer season on Sunday (May 16). It provides access to the Washburn Valley and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The service will run every Sunday and Bank Holiday until October 17. It departs from Keighley Bus Station at 9.30am and runs via Bingley, Shipley and Guiseley to Otley, before travelling though the Washburn Valley past Lindley, Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs to Blubberhouses. From there it climbs Greenhow Hill before dropping down to Pateley Bridge. The bus then passes Gouthwaite Reservoir and through the villages of Ramsgill and Lofthouse before reaching its final destination, Scar House Reservoir, at 11.50am.
