Burberry's fourth-quarter sales recover on strong demand in China for quilts and downs

Recovery: Burberry's comparable store sales grew 32 per cent in the fourth quarter
Fashion brand Burberry showed it was well on the mend as it revealed sales soared in its last fiscal quarter.
Comparable store sales grew 32 per cent in the fourth quarter thanks to booming demand from the United States, South Korea, and China, where the group conducted a successful Lunar New Year campaign.
It said quilts and downs were very popular with customers in the two Asian countries, while men's shirts and jerseys and women's knitwear also received large orders across the world.
Mainland China additionally drove double-digit growth in the company's online trade, as did 'particularly strong' sales of full-price accessories, notably  leather goods and shoes.
