With the exception of some minor landscaping and painting jobs, the home's exterior remains unchanged from the movie. However, the actual interiors of this four-bedroom home (which were never seen on screen as a custom set was created) are actually quite stunning. Although Buffalo Bill may scoff at these interiors which date back to 1910, we're fans of this well-preserved home. The original hardwood floors, woodwork, light fixtures, pocket doors, fireplaces, and wallpaper are all still intact. Plus, the basement is absent of any serial killer dungeon vibes — another major win if you ask us! Last, but not least, the house also sat on a 1.76 acre property along the Youghiogheny River. A famous movie home with a view—you can't beat that!
