In light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in India, Bruce Power has made a $20,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to support preparedness, response, and recovery activities in India.
“Throughout the pandemic, Bruce Power has been committed to supporting our local community and the province through the COVID-19 health crisis,” said Pat Dalzell, Bruce Power’s Head of Corporate Affairs. “India is experiencing a critical surge in coronavirus cases, with the country’s health care system stretched beyond capacity, and supplies running short. This donation will support the Canadian Red Cross in its efforts to offer assistance to those affected in India.”
