BROCKTON — In recent years, Brockton has been the site of filming for a few large Hollywood productions. There are other perks to filming than just some notoriety for local communities. Film companies enter into agreements with communities they will be filming in and there's a monetary incentive for the communities. There are some direct payments to communities, but also additional money spent at businesses in those communities filming is taking place in, including for catering, local production tasks and more.
