"Mid-band has been examined for various aspects that impact the minimum requirements to be met by operators to service their consumers in different geographies. Analysis reveals that ideally, 3-4 operators require 2 GHz of mid-band spectrum to offer optimal 5G services. Deviating below this threshold would lead to sub-optimal performance while surpassing it could result in wastefulness," opines Kochhar.
