Brick Township Police Make Drug-Related Arrests After Month-Long Investigation
With the assistance of several agencies, the Brick Police Street Crimes Unit made two arrests and served four search warrants related to a drug investigation that spanned Brick and Lakewood Townships.
Residential search warrants were served on Laurel Avenue in Brick and in the Wood Lake Manor and High Point Complexes in Lakewood. One warrant was executed on a vehicle.
As a result of the investigations, James Brown Jr., 40, of Lakewood, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Brown was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
