LIVE author events are set to return this month in line with the latest government guidance. Brendon Books have organised a talk with Ursula Franklin and Hazel Prior at the Brewhouse Theatre on May 19 at 6.30pm. Ursula has always loved penguins, but when her world fell apart in 2012 they took on a new significance for her. She embarked on a mission to see every species of penguin in their natural habitat, a journey that has taken her to some of the remotest places in the southern hemisphere. During her ongoing quest, Ursula has combined her favourite penguin photographs with amusing captions and collated these into a small yet hugely inspiring book, ‘The joy of penguins’.
