It was a record setting night that Hollywood could not write a script for on Saturday at the Knoxville Raceway as heard on KNIA. Brian Brown set not only quicktime in the 410s but broke the one-lap track record that many thought would never be broken by running a lap in :14.351 at 125.327mph. The old record was set by Brooke Tatnell back in 2006. Brown went on to dominate the regularly scheduled A-Main and then capped the night by winning last week’s postponed feature from the 6th starting position to sweep double features night. Brown told KNIA/KRLS after his second win, he was able to pull off the winning pass after seeing a chance to get by race leader Ayrton Gennetten.
