Boone Receives SOR Distinguished Alumnus Of The Year Award

Dr. Jerome Boone received the School of Religion Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award during Lee University’s virtual Homecoming celebrations.
“Few individuals in higher Christian education have the ability to do administration and teaching well,” said Dr. Terry Cross, dean of the School of Religion. “Dr. Boone is one of those rare individuals who has spent his entire career doing both tasks exceptionally well. The School of Religion faculty voted to honor their colleague as an alumnus who has contributed so much to the Kingdom of God throughout the world, but especially in training men and women to ‘help others know God truly and faithfully’ here at Lee.”
