LOS ANGELES, May 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, leading spa and beauty brand, Bliss, is once again partnering with The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. This year, the partnership aims to cultivate a candid dialogue about mental health and create positive, affirming spaces on social media – where negativity runs rampant. One quarter of Americans say a negative social media comment has ruined their day, and studies have found that negative social media experiences have a direct link to depression. These statistics are much higher for the LGBTQ community.
