“Winter’s End at Copley Square,” a painting by Billerica artist Mary Rose O’Connell, is part of a new exhibit opening Thursday, March 4, at the Copley Society of Art, 158 Newbury St., Boston.
The exhibit called New Beginnings is described as an exquisite showcase of unique works by Copley Society of Art and features artist members’ work in a variety of mediums and styles.
A long-time resident of Billerica, O’Connell is a classically trained artist and teacher.
She is primarily an oil painter with concentrations in portrait, still life, marine, and what is known as; En plein air painting.
