Bill Reid joins Vacasa The Star Bill Reid has recently joined Vacasa, a vacation rental management company as sales executive for the Forgotten Coast of the Florida Panhandle. Vacasa, based in Portland, Oregon, which manages over 27,000 properties in the US and internationally, is the largest vacation rental company in the United States. They span over 27 states and 18 countries across the globe. Reid, who will handle the territory covering Mexico Beach and east to St. George Island, said Vacasa has a small number of properties along the Forgotten Coast and is looking to grow their market share. Reid formerly worked as a broker associate with Beach Realty of Cape San Blas in Port St Joe, after moving to Gulf County permanently in 2008. His experience as a realtor, ownership of a vacation rental home on Cape San Blas since 2002 and active owner with his wife Caryn, of Hospitality Linens in Port St Joe, provides him with the knowledge needed from all sides of the vacation rental industry.
