Ben Affleck is said to have initiated contact with his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez back in February, while the singer, 51, was filming Shotgun Wedding. 
According to TMZ, the actor, 48, reached out to J.Lo via email while she was in the Dominican Republic, with the pair continuing communications over the coming month.
The reports come after exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com on Monday, showed the pair heading for a romantic ski getaway trip in Montana.
