FAIRFIELD-SUISUN, CALIFORNIA Boaters get ready to depart from the Belden's Landing dock, Thursday, July 9, 2020. (Robinson Kuntz/Daily Republic) Belden’s Landing to be part of SF water trail FAIRFIELD — Belden’s Landing Water Access Facility is going to be part of the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail, a move that could lead to more park and parking revenue. Solano County supervisors adopted a resolution Tuesday in support of making Belden’s Landing a part of the water trail. Belden’s Landing has more than 20,000 visitors annually, the staff report to the board states. “The inclusion into the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail system allows for promotion of the facility as part of a larger network of access points for the public to interact with the natural environment, including those who utilize non-motorized boats,” the staff report states. “Inclusion into the system also allows for increased grant opportunities as they become available, especially as many grant guidelines encourage multiple partners and increased collaborative opportunities.”
