My family is very close knit. My sister and I talk every day, and my husband and I see her daughters a few times a week. Back when I was accepted to an expensive university in the US, I strove to do really well to show my parents my appreciation. I’m quite the perfectionist, and when I do anything, I’m going to do it well. One reason why I wanted a childfree life is because I work really hard.
