Beijing Winter Olympics: Historic and precious legacy

The opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 was held on Feb 4, 2022, or lichun (Beginning of Spring), the first of the 24 solar terms on the Chinese lunar calendar, which indicates the awakening of everything and the ending of cold. Beijing became the world’s first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games and made this lichun more meaningful for the Chinese people. It also brought enthusiasm, strength and hope to the world facing so many adversities.
