Bear attacks Placer County resident while they took out the

Officials said Wednesday, June 16, a resident left a door open at their home on North Lake Boulevard while taking out the trash, and that a bear entered the home. Officials said the bear scratched the person before the bear went up a tree and the victim called for help.
