Japans Space Agency Says that its moon lander, known as slim, has woken up after surviving through a lunar night for the second time. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency announced the probes latest surprise awakening in a post on x, formerly twitter, accompanied by this Black And White photo of the rocky surface of a crater, which it transmitted back to earth. The lander is not designed to withstand the harsh lunar night, which lasts for two earth weeks and sees temperatures plunge below minus 130 degrees celsius.
