among britons, the family of the first minister of scotland. sport, and for a full round—up from the bbc sport centre, here's olly. lucy, thank you very much indeed. the manchester united manager erik ten hag came out fighting today, insisting that he is the man to turn the team's fortunes around. they lost 3—0 at home to manchester city last weekend and were then knocked out of the league cup on wednesday by newcastle united by the same scoreline at old trafford. they are at fulham in the lunchtime kick—off on saturday. they are positive. they want to put this right. we know the standards here, and we have to match the standards every day. and we had two big setbacks, but we will fight back. and this dressing room is strong, the staff is strong, this manager's strong to put this right. liverpool are at luton on sunday. luis diaz is available again after missing the last two games. he was allowed time off after his father was kidnapped. though he hasn't been released yet, there is more positive news coming out of colombia. diaz returned to training on wednesday, but he won't be pressured into playing. the news from colombia, i didn't get that personally, i always get it forwarded if they are...whatever is behind it. i don't know. everything gives us a little bit of hope. we are waiting for the really good news. but that is it, pretty much. but i cannot really say what we will do because we'lljust wait where we can pick up the boy from and go from there, but it's all about him, that he makes himself available or not and i will not force anything. afghanistan are still pushing for an unlikely semifinal spot at the cricket world cup. they beat netherlands by seven wickets, and they are now level with australia and new zealand on eight points, with only net run rate keeping them out of the top four. netherlands decideed to bat first in lucknow, but were dismissed for 179 inside 47 overs. mohammad nabi was the pick of afghanistan's spin—heavy attack, taking 3—28. teenager noor ahmad again impressed by taking 2—31. hashmatullah shahidi hit an unbeaten 56 as afghanistan passed their target with 18 overs to spare. the win tees up a potentially pivotal encounter against australia in mumbai next tuesday. we just need to start winning one or two i will get that confidence and belief and a bit of spring in austin we can win this close games and also dominate games if we get the opportunity to. so again, there are certain things today we need to get better, we need to improve on for the next game against australia in mumbai, but that's a lot of good things as well that will stand us in good stead going forward against the likes of australia and south africa the next two games. australia do have a game in hand, though, and that is against england in ahmdebad tomorrow. england's title defence is in tatters. they are bottom the table after five defeats in six matches. little bit surprised and honestly some _ little bit surprised and rafah crossing point into egypt. 124 british nationals are on the list of people who are being allowed to leave. the first minister of scotland, humza yousaf, says his family have made it out of gaza after being trapped in the territory for over three weeks. his parents—in—law are among the british nationals who have now entered neighbouring egypt through the rafah crossing. our correspondent helena wilkinson has the story. i am at cairo airport, leaving to london. i'm going to the gate. safe at last. filmed earlier today in cairo airport as dr abdelkader hammad is about to board his flight to the uk. a surgeon at the royal liverpool university hospital, he's been visiting gaza for the last ten years, pictured here training doctors at the al—shifa hospital in gaza city. his latest visit began just one day before hamas carried out its deadly attacks. oh, it was really terrible. we thought that we are going to be killed there. at the time, i didn't say that in the interviews, because i didn't want my family really to be very worried about me, but, yeah, we were very frightened for our safety, for our lives. dr hammad, just tell us what it was like for you crossing the border into egypt? i mean, people at the border are saying to us, "0h, you are leaving us, you are internationals, you are lucky. we are abandoned by you," and so on, and it is hard to bear, i mean, although we couldn't do anything. other british nationals who've also left gaza include the family of scotland's first minister, humza yousaf. his mother—in—law and father—in—law were trapped for nearly a month. hugely relieved, of course, and it was a special moment for me to be able to phone up my 14—year—old, while she was on her school break, to tell her that granny and grandpa are coming home. and that's a moment that was very special. relief for some families, then, but for others still trapped in gaza, the unbearable wait goes on. helena wilkinson, bbc news. well, the israeli prime minister, benjamin netanyahu, has said there will be no temporary ceasefire with hamas in gaza until all israeli hostages are released. one of those hostages is guy gilboa dalal. here he is on the right of this photo that has been shared with us by his brother gal gilboa dalal on the left. they were both at the supernova music festival in southern israel. and we can speak now to gal gilboa dalal, who's in kfar saba in israel. thank you so much talking to us, really appreciate it. are you able to tell us a little bit about what happened to you at the music festival? ,, ., .., , , ., now festival? sure, of course. first of. all, thank you for having me. now at the festival, my brother went with his three best friends to this festival. now this festival is a spiritual festival. festival. now this festival is a spiritualfestival. this is a festival of people who go to the celebrate life, peace and love and music. in my brother never went to this kind of spiritualfestival. that was his first. and since i had gone to many of these kind of festivals, he was excited to also go for his first time. he really wanted me tojoin with for his first time. he really wanted me to join with him and for his first time. he really wanted me tojoin with him and be part of his experience. i wanted to come and watch over him. so i was not supposed to go to this festival, and i onlyjoined him later. and my brother and his friends went from the evening before the terrible morning started, and i arrived at 5:30 a:m., which was one hour before the first alarm. now as i arrived there, my brother took us up it with me and send it to our mum because he always informed her of everything that happens keeper it is as you get worried. and wanted me to go to the festival with him but i did not have time since had already started 15 minutes after i got him. once the alarms started, we thought this is a missile attack, so we wanted to leave the area of the party. and the festival. so i told him and his friends that they should come to my apartment, which was a half hour drive from there. and i asked them to drive after me. the issue was that everyone was trying to get out at the same time, so the trip it was stuck and we moved very slowly. i was stuck in the middle of the traffic and my brother and his friends were stuck way in the back. that was when the time it was already, i think, that was when the time it was already, ithink, seven a:m., like half hour after the first alarm, and then we heard a massive round of shootings. in these shootings, they came from everywhere. they came from the front and they came from the back. and people were starting to panic immediately. and they were trying but they could not move and at some are trying to move the family and friends and we tried to help some people and i tried to call to my brother. he did not answer me at this time, and we had to run away at this time, and we had to run away at that moment because the bullets were hitting the cars next to us and right above us. so i had to find a place to hide and then went to a vendor that was next to my car. and then my brother called me. he told me that he already, that he is with the car and there are terrorists in front of him and there are exchanges of fire between them and the cops. so i told him to stay and cover and wait for us. and that's actually the last time i spoke with him because while we were speaking, people started fleeing toward me. some people were covered with blood, and the rounds of the bullets were already right near us. they started to yell that we should move on because terrorists are above us, and we had to keep moving. this was a member that i would call him as soon as i can, and i did. i called him like 50 minutes later, maybe 20 after we find a better place to hide. after we went further into the valley. but he and his friends did not answer me any more. i try to call him, i try to call his friends, my mum and dad started calling me asking me what happened and i could not tell them that they were in real life danger, but i wanted them to keep calling to my brother. so i'll tell them just to keep world, but concerns about its water quality are growing. since june last year, hundreds of local people have been involved in one of the biggest water sampling projects ever seen in britain. but the latest survey, taken in august, was worrying. we had quite high rainfall before the survey, which brought in a lot of water to the catchment. and that brought in, we think, quite a lot of phosphorus and nitrogen and other pollutants from the catchment, whether that be from septic tanks, from sewage discharges and also from agricultural runoff. the samples are brought here to lancaster university to be tested. what that gives us is a real ability to identify hotspots in the catchment where water quality is good, but also where it's poorer. and then we can use those hotspots of poor water quality to direct further activity, to try and work out why and to address that through action. for more stories from across the uk, head to the bbc news website. primary schools across delhi have black security guard while saying he had killed before. the victim of the attack, in 2015, said matthew white told him there had been no consequences for, as he put it, killing "stephen". our correspondent daniel de simone reports. it's britain's most notorious racist murder. 30 years ago, stephen lawrence was stabbed to death while waiting for a bus, by a gang of young white men in eltham, south london. five prime suspects became infamous. two were finallyjailed in 2012. a lead attacker with fair hair was never identified, but this year, a bbc investigation named matthew white, who died two years ago, as a sixth suspect and exposed the met*s repeated failure to properly investigate him. i've now found new evidence which poses serious questions for the force. i told him to stop, then he used — i don't want to say — the n—word. bethel ikpeze was racially abused and almost stabbed with a dirty syringe by matthew white. the security officer prevented white from stealing from an eltham supermarket. the next thing i saw was, he sat up with a needle. he wasjust coming. and if he had hit you, what do you think the result would have been? he would kill me. i pull him down. i ask him, "do you want to kill me?" he said, "yes, i will kill you." he says white then made an alarming admission. he said, ok, can i remember that they've done it in the bus stop there, to a fellow like me, in the past, but nothing happened. he's still here. isaid, "ok, if you have done it before, i don't know who you did it to." that was when the word — i can remember now — when the word "stephen". when the police turned up here, bethel ikpeze says he told them everything, including that matthew white had said about killing before and mentioned the name stephen. he says he never heard from the met again. white pleaded guilty to using threatening words and having a syringe in public. he wasn't charged with trying to stab his victim or with racial abuse. the crown prosecution service says the police's evidence contained no mention of racial abuse. the met says it apologises if the case wasn't investigated as it should have been. matthew white was jailed for four months. he shared a cell with this man, who says he spoke of his link to the stephen lawrence case. what he said was that if i could see the papers about the whole case, if i ever did, that he's referred to quite a lot in the paperwork, that he was the blond—haired figure that's referred to throughout the paperwork and that he was involved in the incident. we previously revealed matthew white looked like the unidentified suspect sometimes known as the blond attacker. he said that, yeah, that they completely mishandled it and failed, really, to properly investigate him. the met says it's satisfied all relevant inquiries related to white were considered prior to his death. the other remaining suspects for stephen's murder remain free. his parents want fulljustice but have no confidence in the met. daniel de simone, bbc news, eltham. time for a look at the weather with elizabeth. hello there. good evening. it's been a much quieter day of weather today following storm ciaran yesterday. we've seen some sunny spells around. still plenty of showers, too, falling on saturated ground in many cases, but the number of flood warnings reducing throughout the day. as of friday, the center of that deep area of low pressure associated with the storm is still in the north sea, but our second deep low is approaching from the south—west here. this has been named storm domingos by the spanish met service, but for us across the uk, it won't be as bad as storm ciaran, but still wet and windy and turning ever more snow across the south—west of england and western wales. by the time we get to the end of the night, there'll be some heavy, persistent rain here. further north across scotland and northern ireland, lighter winds. there'll be some mist and fog developing into tomorrow morning. slow to lift and clear. a chilly start to the day away from this low to the south and the west, which is dragging with it some milderfeeling air. and that's set to move further northwards and eastwards through the day on saturday. a tight squeeze in the isobars towards the southern flank, so again some gales expected across the channel islands. gusts towards channel coasts of around 40—45 mph. that heavy rain is pushing further northwards through the afternoon. the band of rain is weakening, but there will be some heavy, thundery showers following on behind, particularly for southern coastal counties where, again, the ground is saturated for many. further north, across northern ireland, northern england and much of scotland away from the east, it should be largely dry. but again, for eastern scotland, the ground saturated here and there will be some more showers. once more that deep area of low pressure moves away into the north sea as we head through saturday night and into sunday. we draw in more of a north—westerly wind, so the focus of the showers will change out towards the western isles, north—west scotland, western parts of northern ireland, western wales and the south—west of england. still quite blustery through the channel. further east, it does look largely dry, but there could be quite a bit of cloud here, again with that low pressure close by. temperatures once more round about the average for the time of year. now, of course, there will be lots of bonfire night celebrations happening over the weekend, particularly on sunday, which is looking dry again, especially in the east. some showers in the west, and there will be some long spells around in those and it will feel rather chilly. but the ground is soggy. it's pretty saturated in places, so very wet underfoot. it will stay quite changeable as we head through next week. here's the outlook for our capital cities. temperatures more or less the seasonal average. bye— bye. hello, i'm lucy grey. you're watching the context on bbc news. translation: we will not observe the pressures of the americans - or the zionists and...the killing, mass killing of those people. we are absolutely focused on getting hostages back, and getting them back to their families in safety, and we believe that among other things, a humanitarian pause could help that effort. but israel's military has struck an ambulance in gaza city — it says it was being used by hamas fighters near battle lines. a statement saysa number of fighters had been killed, and accuses hamas of using ambulances to transport weapons. also on the programme. the us secretary of state, antony blinken, has been back in tel aviv — with washington
