isjust come down to the economies of scale? well, i think, down to the economies of scale? well, ithink, obviously, amazon and microsoft in particular have first mover advantage. they were, if you like, sucking up all the customers from very early doors and monster customers are in, they can't out. 0fcom has already identified key practices including anti—competitive licensing on the part of microsoft, which artificially inflates the cost of rival cloud services by inflating the cost of microsoft's ubiquitous licensing on rival platforms. all of these make it extremely difficult for new companies and new market entrants to break in and even those, what i would describe it as established a smaller cloud companies are struggling in the face of this. let's face it, this is a market which is going to grow and grow. it is powering ai. it is the future and it is also the uk's feature so it's really important that we have diversity, choice and competitive tension in this market, or we try and get that and hopefully that's what the cma will achieve. that's what we will have to keep an eye on. thank you for that insight, good to have you with us. watch this space, certainly. in other news.... metro bank's shares have plunged after reports it is seeking to raise millions to bolster its finances. the bank's shares sank 27% in early trading, after some newspapers reported it needed to raise up to £600 millions, or around $730 million. metro bank refused to comment on the figure and the urgency of the talks but said it "continues to consider how best to enhance its capital resources". the italian fashion house prada says it will be helping design the space suits for nasa's return to the moon in 2025. the private company axiom space won a nasa contract that included providing space suits for the mission and is now teaming up with prada. the axiom extravehicular mobility unit spacesuit is being designed "with advanced capabilities for space exploration". now, how do you get supplies to remote offshore wind farms? traditionally they'd go by sea — slower and more labour intensive. but now one firm in denmark is trialling the use of drones to deliver spare parts. adrienne murray has been out on the water between denmark and sweden — to find out how they work. this battery powered drone is heading to a wind farm loaded with a spare part. taking off! taking off vertically, much like a helicopter, it can carry two to three kilos up to 100 kilometres. once in the air, the drone finds its way autonomously, and we're tracking its journey by boat. we have an algorithm that basically does intelligent path planning. it can see where the wind is coming from, where it should approach the turbine from, and then automatically calculates a path along specific points. there's more than 100 turbines, each precisely mapped, and the drone is programmed to pinpoint the right one. we're still about 20 kilometres offshore, closely following the drone's flight path. and right behind me is the turbine where it's about to make its delivery. after detecting the target, the drone closes in for the drop. bull's—eye. it's the first time this type of drone delivery has been done before. and the idea is to speed up repairs, saving downtime, fuel and costs. we want to have parcels delivered with drones on a daily basis, so we don't need to bring a vessel out. it could save that one day of production or even several days of production are not lost due to the turbine standing still. drones have already been used for emergency medical aid and could take on tasks in hard to reach or risky locations. but there are still barriers to overcome. we have so far focused offshore, because there's a lot of use cases and it's easier to get flight permits. but offshore oil rigs, ships, even ships moving, it's a natural next step for us. drone deliveries have been much hyped in the past, but it's taken a while to get to where we are today. so why is that?
