If you dont live here and you are not affected by it every day, you forget that its happening. But it is, and its terrifying. Good boy. Come, levi. Im already hot. Not even outside. Come on. Normally, i like to start my days off with a dog walk. Come on. We need to make it super early so that my little fur baby can walk on the ground without burning himself. Are your paws 0k . I think it was around 56 this year. Thats, supposedly, hot as it got. But if feels like 60 yeah, its hot. Did you get dehydrated . It sucks the life out of you. It goes like this. And then thats it, youre just like this. Lets go home, its hot. Come on. Im done, bro. Today i have a really special guest. This is. Hi, guys. Its hindash. I think in my line of work when im doing a lot of content creation, i can really see when the heat does affect me. When you do have the best light in a day to be able to film, its absolutely too hot for you to do it outside. So, since this is a compilation episode, im going to make sure that i bring coffee to everybody since we dont get to go out for coffee. The hours between 11 in the morning until around four oclock in the afternoon are no go times for being outdoors. Wait, wait. We need to look both ways. The heat impacts your life in ways that you dont necessarily anticipate. On a day to day, it makes things that are supposed to be a minute long an hour long. All right. Yeah. Lets sit down, my love. Do you want the ac . Yeah. One of the things that i was not anticipating when i did finally have children was now i had this tiny little being that needed to be protected from the sun. All right, lets get going. And because i had rearfacing car seats, the ac unit actually never touched his car seat. So we would turn the car around 30 minutes prior to an outing, put the ice packs into his car seat to cool it down before i could place him in it, and then we would have a tube that would extend from the front ac into the backjust to make sure that we could get him enough Air Conditioning in a rear facing car seat. That is the reality for all parents here. Push the door. Push, push, push. Do you want to try that . Its like mango with strawberry. Is there a Chocolate Froyo . I have spent my entire adult life living in kuwait but i did have a little bit of time where i got to grow up in the states and got to really be on my bike and be outside, and make treehouses and climb trees. I guess i really did want that for my own children. How is it . Is it cold . I think theres a common misconception that there is the ability to split your time between multiple countries if youre kuwaiti. That has never been my reality, so the assumption that we are able just to leave when its too hot is really not possible for everybody. This is the hottest ive ever seen kuwait. It is getting to the point where its really unbearable, and i feel everything about living here is hostile sometimes. Would you say you like swimming inside or outside more . Inside. Inside . Why do you like inside . Do your feet hurt when you walk on the Grass Outside . Yes. Yes . It concerns me that the only life that my children have known has been in scorching heat. They want to be kids and go to the playground and theyll beg to go all day, and then well finally break and take them and itll be so unbearable that theyre begging to go back home. Really humid. There is absolutely no way to survive here without ac. And i think that whats really disturbing about that is that youre cooling your little section but your heating up outside. And so we are in this awful, awful cycle of trying to cool ourselves down but also heating up the country even more as we go on. I think weve got a little fatigued with the idea of climate change. Youve got to stop using straws to save the turtles, and youve got to turn off the lights in your bathroom as you leave the house to be able to save a little bit of energy. But The Big Picture is what it actually means to live here, what it means to raise children here and i sometimes worry, and its one of my largest fears, is that my children are so young right now and these are probably the best days of their life in terms of weather. If you dont live here and youre not affected by it every day, you forget that its happening. But it is, and its terrifying. If were looking into the future, i dont see how much longer we can consider kuwait habitable. Hello there, good evening. With low pressure close by for yet another weekend, with low pressure nearby, it has been unsettled. Blustery throughout the day. A good scattering of showers such as here in cambridgeshire. As we had through sunday, a quieter looking day, still windy for the time of day but not as blustery, still sunny spells but fewer showers around. This is the Satellite Picture from early round on saturday. On sunday, largely try note, also mild, temperatures between and 16 degrees, a keen south westerly wind but not as blustery saturday and there will be a good scattering of showers as well but they will not be as heavy or as thundery as saturday, possibly a rumble or two of thunder across the moray firth and further spells of rain in Northern Ireland and parts of Western Scotland by the end of the day. Top temperatures in east anglia, 23 celsius. This is the position of The Rain On Sunday Night into monday morning, that will be moving northwards and eastwards across wales, south west england, and Northern England as well. Scotland could see a largely dry day, scattering of showers out towards the east, possibly mostly driver Northern Ireland, and dry weather across east anglia and the south east of england, although still the risk of showers here. On tuesday, the deep area of low pressure pushes off towards scandinavia and High Pressure starts to build in but still there is a france waiting out in the atlantic, they will be stalled. On tuesday, a mostly dry stout but murky, low cloud around, some areas of sea mist and fog as well, possibly some sharp showers across central and Western Areas of scotland but plenty of dry weather as well and has the cloud tends to break up, some sunshine will emerge, 22 to 23 celsius across east anglia and south east england. On wednesday, High Pressure in the north, that will push eastwards, low pressure at an again, and it is being stalled by the High Pressure. Another murky start of the day, plenty of mist and fog around, low cloud, the sunshine will break through and temperatures across central southern england, perhaps Western Areas of east anglia, could get up to 26 celsius on wednesday, and it is looking similar again on thursday. A few showers around, low cloud to start the day, temperatures pegged back with perhaps a bit of sea mist around so just the high teens. We start to see some rain approach Northern Ireland by the end of the day, this is the position of the jet stream as we head through next week. Some debate about how far north it will be but it is drawing in this Airfrom North it will be but it is drawing in this air from Southern Europe so it will start to feel warmer across south east england and wales as well, staying unsettled and cooler further north towards the north of the jet stream but across cardiff, we could see temperatures up in the mid 20s, possibly the high 20s in london and the south east and cooling down somewhat over the weekend, bye bye for now.
