And many of the mainstream Holiday Destinations, such as spain, italy and so on, have Infection Rates far, far lower than this, so we absolutely fail to understand what the Governments Policy is when they say that trying to open up travel for some we see it in absolute opposite. There is nothing fundamentally that has changed with opening up one tiny the island in the middle of the mediterranean and putting those other countries on the Green Watchlist. Again, there Infection Rates are minimal, absolutely minimal, compared to ours, and the argument thats been used as well that europe is so far behind as of vaccination, they are catching up so rapidly. I use the example of france. They are vaccinating far more people per day than we have and have been doing that for the last six weeks. And they are speeding up the second vaccinations as well, so when you look at the population that have been fully vaccinated, a lot of europe is now not far behind us, so please, government, what is this science that your supposed to be following to open up Safe Travel . This has been part of the campaign from the Industry'>Travel Industry, weve seen it yesterday with, shows youre working, we want to see how you come to the conclusions. Show assure working. The good news is that fully vaccinated individuals are considerably less likely to catch or transmit delta or to be seriously ill if they get it. However, there is still a large portion of the populations in many countries that arent yet fully vaccinated, and that is the real risk here. Across the eu, three in ten adults are fully immunised. In The Uk, its double that, six in ten adults have had both doses. In france, where there is a lot of vaccine hesitancy, Coverage Rates are unlikely to ever match those achieved here. Fewer than two in three of those aged over 80 in france are fullyjabbed, whereas in england its more than nine in ten. Italy has introduced a five Day Quarantine for travellers from britain. Germany will only admit Uk Citizens for exceptional reasons even then, they need to quarantine for 1h days.
