But in the early hours of tuesday, more rain confined to southern scotland, Northern England, quite light and patchy but some mist and fog developing along western coasts. We start tuesday with some spells of sunshine for central, southern and Eastern England. Also for the Northern Isles and channel islands, which will hang on to that sunshine in the afternoon.
