Especially him, but a lot of other players went down like it was really something serious, and obviously we we re something serious, and obviously we were not in our. We were not that calm any more, which makes it aggressive, obviously. calm any more, which makes it aggressive, obviously. I dont even wa nt aggressive, obviously. I dont even want to talk about it, because for me it is not a subject. When i lose big games, i am angry and sometimes i talk about stuffjust to bring the attention to Something Else and away from my team. I do this also, but it is not my issue. You would have to la st is not my issue. You would have to lastjurgen for that, is not my issue. You would have to last jurgen for that, and is not my issue. You would have to lastjurgen for that, and i heard he had this opinion to that, and thats fine, andl had this opinion to that, and thats fine, and i am talking about it. Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have qualified from group a. Antoine griezmann was among the scorers as atletico beat monaco 2 0. Dortmund are also through, despite being held to a 0 0 draw by bruges. In group b, barcelona, who had already qualified, won 2 1 at psv to secure top spot. Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen scored the only goal of the game, as tottenham beat inter, which means both sides are level on seven points with one game to go. Uefa say they are working to ensure that Thursdays Europa League tie between with vorskla poltava and arsenal will go ahead. The game has already been moved from poltava because of the introduction of martial law in several regions of ukraine, and the game is now scheuked to take place in the capital kiev, from where jonah fisher sent this report. The match has been moved to the Olympic Stadium here in kiev, and its not entirely clear whether this stadium is prepared or equipped to hold the game tomorrow night. They have been questions raised. Wejust had a statement through from uefa because there were concerns the match would not go ahead. It said u efa match would not go ahead. It said uefa is now working closely with the Football Federation of ukraine to make sure that the match goes ahead in the stadium in kiev tomorrow night. That is the stadium where the Champions League final was earlier this year, a massive stadium, capacity of about 60 5000. I would be very surprised if heads were not aimed together over the next 2a hours or so and they find a way to make that much go ahead. But there is certainly a bit of pain, a bit of a headache, for the 500 also arsenal fa ns a headache, for the 500 also arsenal fans who we think have made the journey here to ukraine to see match. This match. Now to boxing, and the build up continues to saturdays world heavyweight title fight in los angeles. The wbc champion, Deontay Wilder, is putting his belt on the line against great Britains Tyson fury, the former wba and ibf champion. And, during wednesdays final press conference in los angeles, the pair clashed on stage. Our reporter ade adedoyin was there. Yes, those two men, tyson fury and Deontay Wilder, took to the stage behind me a few moments ago and emotions were really running high. There was a bit of pushing and shoving between both camps. There we are very close to fight without, and emotions run high, and it nearly boiled over here. Really are the things, not really what you want to see in the build up to such an important contest. Tyson fury was on stage a few months ago and we spoke to him and he apologised for his pa rt to him and he apologised for his part in it, he said that is not what he expected to happen. Deontay wilder was very, very upset when we spoke to him, and he talked about how he intends to inflict devastating victory saturday night, and to knock out tyson fury. Prior to all the melee, however, they were quite calm, quite fired up, they are to make big characters, to make big personalities in world boxing, and they talked about how they expected to win the fight. Lets have a listen to what they had to say. I cannot wait. And the time is clicking. Its boiling down. Theres only three days left now. Can you feel the energy . Can you feel the anticipation that this fight is going to bring . The two best heavyweights in the world, right here, to a stable near you. Yall should be excited. Many men have tried to take things from me in the past. But ive never come across anybody, amateur, professional, sparring there aint never been a man that could better me in a fight, never. Never not a spar, not a boxing match, not a professional fight, not anything. Ive never, ever been bettered, not one time. So, if Deontay Wilder is that man, then god bless him. When they are selling very, very confident, and often in the build up to fight people will do things to try and sell the fight, but i dont think is the type. I think it is genuine animosity between both men. It will be interesting to see what they do when they meet each other for the final time before the fight on friday, that is for the way in, whether they will keep them apart or whether they will keep them apart or whether they will have security to ensure that nothing goes wrong for so ensure that nothing goes wrong for so clearly a lot is riding on this for both men. Tyson fury, he feels he is the champion. It is almost three years to the day since he defeated that klitschko. He will try and regain his title on saturday. As for Deontay Wilder, he says he is the best on the planet. He is angling for a showdown against anthonyjoshua next year angling for a showdown against Anthony Joshua next year and angling for a showdown against anthonyjoshua next year and to do that he needs to win on saturday and win emphatically. All shaping up be a really big night of oxen. Boxing. Norways Magnus Carlsen has won the world chess championship for the fourth straight time. He and his american challenger, fabiano caruana, spent three weeks in a stalemate with a record streak of 12 draws as they battled for the sports biggest title. But the deadlock was broken on wednesday, when the two grandmasters locked horns in a series of rapid tie breakers. From london, our sport news correspondent Richard Conway reports. They will be dancing in the streets of oslo tonight, and that is because Magnus Carlsen has retained his world chess title. The norwegian won over fabiano caruana, his challenger. He, of course, bidding to be the First American since Bobby Fischer in 1972 to win the World Championship. But carlsen proved too strong in the tie break games. They of course were rapid fire games against the clock, and that was all due, and needed, because the first three weeks of this championship resulted in 12 tied games. It tookjust over three hours for the title to be resolved, carlsen showing why he is the number one in the rapid form of the game, and despatching the american in efficient style. He, of course, will now cement his position as the number one player in chess. He is already the rock star, the poster boy of the sport. He has been a guest star on the simpsons, he has got fashion contracts, he is friends with hollywood a listers. He will go on from this, surely, to more fame and fortune. So the position here is that carlsen wins yet again. He is still the world champion. Is very special for me to win this time. Ifeel is very special for me to win this time. I feel that fabiano is very special for me to win this time. Ifeel that fabiano is is very special for me to win this time. I feel that fabiano is the stronger the phone and i have played ina stronger the phone and i have played in a World Championship match, and in classical chess he has just as much right as either call himself the best in the world. I to call himself. It was awards time in tokyo on wednesday, as the association of National Olympic committees honoured some of the athletes who lit up the winter games in pyeongchang, south korea, back in february. The best male athlete award went to the american snowboarder shaun white. He won gold in the mens half pipe to claim the title for the third time in his career. The italian short track speed skater Arianna Fontana won the award for the best female athlete. She picked up three medals in pyeongchang, including gold in the 500 metres, to being her overall tally to eight. My my advice to Young Athletes is to find someone whose vision inspires you, and to challenge someones goal is to be high enough to meet their expectations. Never settle for something that seems right. Settle for the person who is riding the ragged edge of reality and imagination, because that is where passion lives. Thank you again for this amazing award. Grazia. You can get all the latest sports news at our website thats bbc. Com sport. But, from me and the rest of the sport today team, goodbye. Hello there. The atlantic is set to be pretty relentless in terms of throwing spells of wet and windy weather our way in the coming days. This hook of cloud here is the spell of windy weather and rain that we had on wednesday. That low centre rolling away. This one, though, developing quite explosively as well to the south west, as we go through the early part of thursday, promises Even Stronger winds than we saw yesterday, and some very heavy rain. Certainly not looking great for the morning rush hour. There will be a risk of some disruption, and bbc local radio is a great place to head to, to get the details where you are. This is what that will look like, however. 6 00am, pretty much, just about everywhere seeing some rain at this stage. On the plus side it is a mild start, temperatures in double figures. Through the morning, the wettest weather will start to push its way northwards pretty quickly. The strong winds will remain an issue, i think if you are out in the morning, especially across the western side of the uk. Around the coast and across the hills, these are the gust strengths in the black circles. You can see 50, 60, maybe even 70 mph there off the coast of pembrokeshire. The stronger winds, as well, pushing further north into Northern England and the south east of scotland as the morning goes on. So, as a rough rule of thumb, 50 60 possible just about anywhere towards the west. In exposure, we could be talking 70 or a little bit more. The rain pushes its way northwards pretty quickly through the morning, many areas actually seeing a great improvement come the afternoon. Quite a few showersm though, packing into the west, the north east of scotland keeping the rain until the end of the day. A mild story, though, thanks to that air coming in from the south west, 13 or 14 as a high. Quite a few showers around in western exposures through thursday evening. Low pressure stays in charge. Thats whats feeding those showers in. It just, though, starts to change its orientation slightly on friday, bringing in the air from the north west, and that will be just a slightly cooler direction. Still some showers thanks to that low for western exposures on friday, but for many, actually, a much quieter day. Yes, still breezy, but nothing like the winds of thursday. And i think many areas could escape with a dry day, temperatures just a couple of degrees down on those we see on thursday. Now, onto the weekend. Another couple of these areas of low pressure look like theyre going to head our way. The question is, will they be around in the daytime or will they come rolling through overnight . At the moment, it looks like some of the wettest weather could be first thing on saturday and first thing on sunday, and as the day goes on, we could see increasing amounts of sunshine. But stay tuned to keep up to date with the detail for your weekend weather. Welcome to bbc news, broadcasting to viewers in north america and around the globe. My name is mike embley.
