Batter up: Thousands of college softball athletes will visit

Thousands of college athletes from around the country — along with their families, teams’ staff and spectators — will head to Leesburg over the next four weekends beginning today for women’s NCAA Big 10 and THE Spring Games softball matches, injecting tourism dollars into Lake County’s economy by filling up hotels and restaurants.
