FAIRFIELD, CT — Kennedy's Barber Club first opened in downtown Fairfield in March 2020.
"We got three days of glory," owner Rob Craft said, before a state order brought on by the coronavirus pandemic forced the business to close.
Nearly a year later, after reopening June 1, the barbershop and spa has carved out a place in the community with its family friendly events and membership offerings.

"Fairfield is a very small business-oriented town that likes to help support its small businesses," Craft said.
Kennedy's aims to create a "personalized vacation of relaxation," where clients can practice self-care during a stressful and isolating time, according to Craft. In addition to haircuts and straight-razor shaves, the business also provides facials, masks, massage chairs, infrared saunas, sensory deprivation tanks and a thermal cocoon pod.
