Ashish Mishra: Lakhimpur case: SC says if Ashish Mishra physically attending events, its violation of bail terms

The Supreme Court has ruled that Union minister Ajay Kumar Mishra's son Ashish Mishra, one of the accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, would be a violation of his bail conditions if he has been physically attending political events. The court had granted interim bail to Mishra in January 2021 for the incident, which claimed eight lives. The court has since relaxed the bail conditions and asked him not to stay in Uttar Pradesh or Delhi during the period.
