ASHEBORO - Dr. Daljit Caberwal opened his urology clinic in Asheboro on July 16th, 1976 and helped the Randolph County community for 45 years. This year, he is retiring and shutting down the only urology clinic in Randolph County.
Caberwal's practice is partnered with Randolph Health, and Caberwal himself has served as Chief of Staff of the Medical and Hospital Society as well as Department Head of Surgery. Over the years, Dr. Caberwal has treated patients for various cancers, kidney stones, enlarged prostates, and more. Caberwal says that he has probably treated someone in every single family in Randolph County and surrounding counties. Since Dr. Caberwal's practice began keeping electronic records for the last three years, he has found that 11,000 patients have visited his clinic, meaning that over the years, he could easily have treated hundreds of thousands of residents in Randolph County.
