Time to make nominations

   The Belmond Growth Alliance is now taking nominations for the annual community awards. Due to Covid-19, the honors will be presented at a ceremony on Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m. in City Park. (The committee hopes to return to a dinner format in 2022.)
  Nominations are being accepted until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26 for the following awards. Each nomination should be on a separate form and in a sealed envelope. Forms are available at City Hall, 112 2nd Ave. NE. For information call Julie Hegge at 444-3937.
  The awards include:
  Outstanding Lifetime Community Service by a person over the age of 40
