scene of Piedmont stand-off (CBS-3) DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Following a stand-off in the Piedmont neighborhood that lasted over seven hours, Duluth Police have arrested a 30 year old man who had several active warrants. According to police, the man barricaded himself in a home on the 2200 block of Nanticoke Street around 1 p-m and refused orders to come out. The Duluth Tactical Response Team arrived at 4:30 and used chemical munitions in an attempt to gain cooperation. Through a mutual aid agreement, Superior Police brought their armored vehicle to the scene to provide safety for the officers and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department also provided assistance.
