Baxter Bulletin Around the county, April 20 has become unofficially known as "Weed Day." In Arkansas, state police want drivers to know that driving high can still result in serious consequences. During the past week, Arkansas State Troopers and law enforcement officers across the state intensified patrols looking for drivers who are impaired by drugs. The operation is part of a five-state plan directed toward the dangerous practice of driving while under the influence of both illegal and legal drugs. The "If You Feel Different, You Drive Different. Drive High, Get a DWI," kicked off Sunday and continues through today. State troopers, local police officers and sheriff’s deputies are intensifying enforcement of drug-impaired driving laws. They will stop and arrest anyone impaired by drugs or alcohol.
