ARKANSAS A-Z: Old Folks' Singing brings tradition, people together

Old Folks' Singing, a yearly event in Tull in Grant County, is believed to be the oldest continuous singing day held west of the Mississippi River. The musical heritage of the event can be traced to the shape-note singing popular in New England and moving to rural southern and western states in the mid-1800s.
