SAN FRANCISCO - ARIZONA’s Jessie Harper has been named the 2021 Pac-12 Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the Conference office announced today. The award, which is presented in each of the 24 sports sponsored by the Pac-12, was established to honor collegiate student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their respective sports disciplines. Harper, who completed her undergraduate studies in sociology last spring with a 3.71 GPA, is currently enrolled in Arizona’s master’s in educational leadership program and has a 4.00 GPA in her graduate coursework. A 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-American and two-time Academic All-District honoree, Harper was on the Conference's Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2020 and was a first-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree in 2019.
