LOWER MERION â An Ardmore man was held for trial on homicide-related charges but prosecutors withdrew similar charges against a second man in connection with the fatal shooting of a third man during an alleged deal to purchase a so-called âghost gunâ from the victim that went awry in Lower Merion. Micah Shaun âMizzâ Colbert, 19, of the 200 block of Greenfield Avenue, Ardmore, the alleged gunman, was held for trial after a preliminary hearing before District Court Judge Michael P. Quinn on charges of first-, second- and third-degree murder, robbery, firearms not to be carried without a license, possessing a weapon, criminal use of a communication facility and sales to ineligible transferee in connection with the July 10 fatal shooting of 19-year-old Layth Saleem Evans, of Philadelphia, during an encounter in the 100 block of Ardmore Avenue in Lower Merion.
