(Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images) RESTON, VA — Architect Helmut Jahn, 81, who designed the Plaza at Reston Station and the first office building at that project, died in a bicycle collision Saturday in Campton Hills, Illinois. Police in the western Chicago suburb said Jahn was riding his bicycle north on Old Lafox Road toward Burlington Road around 3:30 p.m. and did not stop at the stop sign, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune.
