The Several Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Evidence for Civil Actions (hereinafter as the "New Evidence Rules"), effective as of May 1st, 2020, is the first comprehensive amendment to the evidence rules of the 2002 version (hereinafter as the "Old Evidence Rules"). It is said that the amendment is one big thing in the civil litigation field.
