According to the latest policy of China’s National Energy Administration (NEA), the state entity wants selected countries to have at least 20% of all residential roofs equipped with solar energy, as well as at least 30% of commercial and industrial structures, 40% of non-governmental public buildings, such as hospitals and schools, and half of the roofs on national estates. It is foreseen that this policy will boost the growth of distributed solar in the domestic market.
Antaisolar has participated in a Distributed PV seminar to share the case study of its distributed solar plants on Singapore Housing and Development Board (HDB) buildings, an example for the NEA’s solar on roofs policy for pilot countries. The completed project covered its first three tenders, incorporating 300+ HDB blocks with a total capacity of 50MW.
