An inmate at the Anamosa State Penitentiary has died. 44-year old Terry Scott Dudley was pronounced dead on Friday at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics due to complications related to his suspected suicide. The Iowa Department of Corrections say he had been transported there on Tuesday after prison staff found him unresponsive in his cell. Dudley had been in prison since 1998 serving a life sentence for First Degree Murder from Polk County. The incident remains under investigation. ADVERTISEMENT
