Amherst schools' educators honored for awards, leadership :

Amherst County Public Schools Superintendent William Wells and Amherst County High School Principal Joey Crawford were recognized at this month’s county school board meeting as recipients of the Patriot Award through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
