Amendment Adopted by LWFC Pertaining to Use of Deer Urine The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will conduct a public hearing Wednesday (April 21) at 10 a.m. in Baton Rouge on an amendment adopted by the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) in March pertaining to the use of natural deer urine in Louisiana. The meeting will be held at LDWF Headquarters in Baton Rouge in the Joe L. Herring Louisiana Room, 2000 Quail Drive. The amendment states that the only natural deer urine products lawful to import, sell, use or possess must have a seal of approval on the product from either the Responsible Hunting Scent Association or the Archery Trade Association Deer Protection Program.
