Ambassador of Cuba hails Qatar’s role in strengthening international peace, security 12 Dec 2020 - 10:28 Ambassador of Cuba to the State of Qatar H E Eumelio Caballero Rodrguez hailed the role played by the State of Qatar in strengthening international peace and security and its efforts in resolving disputes by peaceful means. In a statement to Qatar News Agency on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day, His Excellency said that the government and people of Qatar can be very proud not only for being a nation so much advanced in the economic and social fields despite the various challenges that it had to face throughout history and recent times, particularly the Gulf crisis, but also for the very important role that Qatar has been playing at the regional and international arena, always practising a policy of peaceful solutions to conflicts and controversies and extending its hand of friendship and solidarity with other countries in need.
