The SUV, in its new generation, gets new design, redesigned interior, and a plethora of modern gadgetry. All-new Honda HR-V breaks cover Honda has taken the wraps off all-new HR-V, which is the company's compact SUV. The new iteration of the HR-V is a big leap in every sense over the predecessor. The SUV is underpinned by a new platform and bears almost no resemblance to the previous model as far as the styling is concerned. The new HR-V is also more feature-rich as compared to the previous model. This is a welcome change considering that the first generation's cabin seemed obsolete as compared to the rivals'. And as is the case with most recent Honda cars, the HR-V is available with a hybrid powertrain. Honda India was contemplating adding the HR-V to its lineup until 2019. And now with the new model reaching several international markets this year, we expect the compact SUV to come to our shores by the end of this year or by early 2022. When launched in India, the new Honda HR-V will be a rival to SUVs like MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, etc.
