Just a few hours before that at about 11 oclock, shots rang out near florisin avenue. St. Louis police chief John Bell Belmar describes what happens. The plain clothes detectives returned fire from the inside of the van but they dont know if they hit him or not. The suspect ran to the east on the north side of that building. Found dead this each of the bedrooms. David conley was charged with six counts of capital murder. Another count is killing multiple people in the same incident and then the other is for killing a child. Reporter Police Believe the oldest child in the home, a 13yearold, was the suspects own child.
