And when you look at the last 2 electoral processes, specifically in 2010 and in 2016, these both occurred in the aftermath of natural disasters in humanitarian situations. Right . And in 2010, you had the international community, directly intervene and overturned the results of that election. And so when you have a government who isnt legitimate, who doesnt have the credibility, who doesnt have a mandate and who isnt implementing meeting reforms, you have to look at, why are they there in the 1st place . Right. And i think that is so much of what youre doing is getting to and i think again, thats extremely important today in the aftermath of the recent earthquake, where there is questions around what comes next in terms of the political situation. And its gonna be extremely important that that process is not determined once again by outside actors. But at that haitians who are able to take the lead and able to do that. And i think if youre looking for sustainable development, thats the answer there is that situation, the solutions cannot be imposed from abroad. The solution is going to have to come from inside haiti. When we look at inside haiti, eugenia is the country now facing a perfect storm of natural disasters, Health Crisis because of covert, of course, political uncertainty because of the assassination of the president. Rising Gang Violence and even now disruption of 8 operations is a country heading towards some kind of collapse. Oh, we are having a lot of issues. Theres no dispute about that collapsing. Im not there yet, and i dont, i think we still have what to do. The thing is, i believe we, as haitians have a responsibility to bring our self and come to get, i asked him say, doing after our independence, we did not have a moment to sit down and strategize because our founding father was assassinated very early on. You can see in the United States, after you went to all their own shovel, they had time to strategize and decide whats the were going to put in place. We have a need to pull together, get to the Table And Dialogue to put together a short term plan, a medium and a long Term Planning for haiti. When lot of the politicians are seen as very focused on the one percent interest, if not tied with criminal gangs who is looking for that sort of national Interest Perspective and can sit down and make the sort of plan. Youre all. There are a lot of haitians in the diaspora and within he wants to focus in all eagerly fighting on the street and at the table talking. They are being silent because at the end of the day as much, we may not want to talk about imperialism and the handle 2nd country like the us. They are the major players, whatever political a core daddys negotiated or talked about at the end of the day. It has to get the approval of the us. And if hes not showing to the need on the interest of the us, they will not be looked at. So in a sense, we have to look to do a 2nd independence to we, the mental liberally from our minds, from our souls, and begin look on our haiti and being loyal to haiti and not loyal to the us out of us.
