The President Trump has done here is unthinkable hes brought people in the middle east together theres been these barriers that have existed that have led to so much instability so much war so much loss so much hopelessness and were seeing so much hopeful thats now coming and i will Say Something that i never thought would be the case which is that on this last trip the amount of optimism that has happened that were experiencing the middle east is truly incredible so i just want to congratulate you i want to congratulate the people of israel i want to congratulate the people from the kingdom of bahrain i want to thank their tremendous leadership and i also want to congratulate the people of the middle east because the 1st deal that you were able to accomplish was so popular that. Your brain have been at a state of war this isnt really a peace deal and where there is conflict as with the israelis and the palestinians there is no agreement there in fact this administration is even talking to the palestinians and jared cushion or has made no sort of apology for that but just keeps continuing to kind of project that there is a success here when the socalled deal of the century that was promised to American Voters that the president said he could deliver that his son a lot was going to execute has not come to fruition so that certainly the 1st observation the next observation and all this is they talk about how this will lead to so many successes prosperity bringing american troops home well thats another promise the president says hes kept get that hasnt happened either in 2016 he said he would end the endless wars and they continue to say that thats what theyre doing but i cant name a war that the United States is currently in that has ended what theyre doing is bringing some troops back but not all of them so a drawdown is very different from a withdrawal so once again this seems to be a bit of marketing and in the midst of all of this you heard from the Vice President talking about these new alliances that certainly what the goal is that all of this is to try and build upon this framework of these normalizing relations whether we. Or with now the kingdom of bahrain the hope is that more arab nations will join on that this will be something to build on but again notable in all of this is with just 8 weeks until the u. S. Election the goal that seems to be set up here is to indicate to American Voters both for me and this is what i will do in my next term and the president has made that very clear in fact he was also talking and has said this in the past that he believes he can also get an agreement even within a month which seems like a very lofty timeframe for getting an agreement with iran something that he has not been able to achieve in this term but is now telling voters look vote for me and ill get it done in my 2nd term so there seems to be a lot of electioneering going on in all of this in advance of the u. S. Election and in advance of the historic signing that the Administration Says will be held here at the white house on tuesday yeah we should. Use that caveat that that this really is all about electioneering isnt it so the president when he says he sees positive things happening with iran and palestine i was struck by jared krishna saying the he sees more positive things happening in the very near future to one of those could he mean well this is sort of characteristic of what weve heard from Jared Kushner from the beginning its you know some of talked about it in jest here in the United States as.
