So i guess this wasnt inevitable so you know again it underlines how much of a huge moment this is for her but also if a black woman as well what are your thoughts on that well absolutely i mean as a black woman in her fortys ive never had an opportunity to vote for a black woman for an office this tight and that is very stark and i think when you look at black women and executives across this country you see the utter lack of that i mean theres never been a lack of governor of any state in this nation and that tells you how far we have to go when you can still count the number of black people being senators whove been governors on one hand now theres certainly a lot that happens at the local levels and at the state levels but when you talk about black women in executive leadership that is very rarefied air and if you also draw on the fact that she is half indian are so that is even a rarity in schiller at this point so it tells you how far we still have to go the nation number how much does her pick infuse new energy into the biden camp i mean you know shes relatively young fresh faced articulate intelligent and women who are sparred with scene with fellow democrats and senate says shell go toe to toe with mike pence in october but its hard to see how should not be to debate.
