Well i think we often have this conversation elizabeth when we see Missile Launches a nuclear test coming out of north korea when it comes to the south korean general public and generally people are used to this kind of behavior coming out of north korea i think there is an understanding that it is concerning that north korea seems to be displaying advances in its technology we heard president moon confirming that to the President Trump when they spoke on the phone yesterday that south koreas assessment is that north korea seems to have made an advance in Intercontinental Ballistic Missile technology and one of the things that you hear from people here is that the factor that has changed is president himself the fact that he tends to use fiery language strong rhetoric when discussing north korea addressing the north Korean Leader kim jong un directly in the past in response to the latest Missile Launch initially all president said was that the u. S. Would handle it that they would take care of it but later when addressing crowds he once again referred to kim jong un as a little rocket man and as a sick puppy and those are the kinds of things that really anger the government of kim jong un disrespecting the leader in north korea is something that is taken extremely seriously and what i think people here and certainly the president here are concerned about is the potential for a miscalculation of north korea or the u. A way that would force them to take the military option that is something that no one here wants to see they did not want to see a preemptive strike against north korea because the risk there of course is that north korea would retaliate by attacking this city meanwhile what actions what military actions has the south been taking since the test and is indeed planning to take kathy.
