Alex Campbell, philanthropist and godfather of many downtown Lexington parks, has died
LEXINGTON – (TNS) Alexander “Alex” Campbell Jr., a philanthropist who helped develop Triangle, Thoroughbred and other downtown parks, died Aug. 15 in Florida. The Lexington native was 95.
